Commercial Warranty and Returns Policy
Corporate support guidelines, backing OES/OEM manufacturing quality.
Last Updated: September 2026
1. Statutory Coverage (Law 7472)
In compliance with national regulations, Euro Estándar provides a 30-business-day commercial warranty beginning upon receipt of the component. This coverage applies exclusively against manufacturing defects verified by the original manufacturer.
2. Technical Certification Requirement
Warranty validation is contingent upon the component's installation being executed by a technically certified automotive workshop. Any formal claim must be accompanied by the respective service order or installation invoice.
3. Exclusion Clauses
The warranty will be voided if the component exhibits damage derived from: incorrect installation procedures, chemical alterations from incompatible fluids, lack of vehicle maintenance, road collisions, or utilization in motorsport applications.
4. Regulations for Electrical Systems
To preserve the integrity of injection systems and electronic sensors, it is strict corporate policy to deny returns, exchanges, or warranties on electrical components that exhibit broken original seals or signs of connection, given their susceptibility to damage from pre-existing short circuits within the vehicle.
5. Administrative Returns
Return requests arising from Customer selection errors will be processed within a maximum period of 8 calendar days post-receipt. The component must be in its original factory condition (unopened packaging without traces of manipulation). Such procedures may incur a 15% restocking fee.
6. Regulations on Specific Imports
Components procured under the 'Special Order' logistics modality are ineligible for contractual cancellation or returns, as these are imports managed per explicit Customer request.
7. Logistics Claims for Transit
It is the recipient's obligation to inspect the physical integrity of the shipment upon delivery. Incidents or damages caused by the transport carrier must be formally reported within 24 hours, requiring photographic evidence and preservation of the original packaging.
8. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Protocol
Claims must be initiated via garantias@euroestandar.cr. The dossier requires: proof of purchase, photographic evidence, and a technical report issued by the installing workshop. Euro Estándar will have 15 calendar days for technical appraisal and subsequent resolution (replacement, repair, or crediting).
9. Scope of Financial Liability
Euro Estándar's financial liability is strictly limited to the invoiced value of the spare part. The Company will not compensate for ancillary items such as: workshop labor hours, towing transport, secondary diagnostics, or loss of revenue.
