Contractual Terms and Conditions
The commercial and operational regulatory framework governing transactions on the Euro Estándar platform.
Last Updated: November 2026
1. Identification and Acceptance
Euro Estándar operates as a B2C/B2B commercial entity focused on the distribution and on-demand import of automotive components in the Republic of Costa Rica. Accessing or using the platform, as well as formalizing any purchase order, implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, constituting a legally binding agreement between the user (Customer) and the Company, in accordance with the Law for the Promotion of Competition and Effective Consumer Defense (Law 7472).
2. Acquisition Models: Local Stock and Courier Import
The Company sells components under two models: (a) Local Stock, corresponding to parts physically available in our distribution center for immediate dispatch; and (b) Special Orders, corresponding to components sourced on demand through the Miami-Costa Rica logistics scheme via courier service. The final price under both models is calculated transparently in Costa Rican colones (CRC), based on the component's FOB cost, the Company's tiered commercial margins, and the billable shipment weight (converted from pounds to kilograms) corresponding to the contracted courier service.
3. Technical Validation
The Company assumes no commercial liability for incompatibilities if the Customer bypasses prior technical validation of OEM part numbers with our support team, or if inaccurate vehicle profile information is provided.
4. Order Processing
Local inventory is dispatched within 24 to 48 business hours post-payment accreditation. Special Orders managed via courier maintain a projected lead time of 8 to 15 business days, subject to the operational variations inherent to the contracted international transport service.
5. Payment Conditions
Commercial transactions are channeled exclusively via standardized bank transfers (IBAN) or the SINPE Móvil network, always expressed in Costa Rican colones (CRC). Orders are logistically activated only after bank reconciliation of funds.
6. Limitation of Liability for Force Majeure
The Company is exempt from liability regarding logistics delays caused by events beyond its direct control along the Costa Rica / United States import route, including but not limited to: operational delays of the international courier service, disruptions in local courier services (Correos de Costa Rica), international supply chain alterations, weather events, or government mandates from either country.
7. Warranties and Mandatory Certified Installation Requirement
In accordance with the Law for the Promotion of Competition and Effective Consumer Defense (Law 7472), Euro Estándar grants a commercial warranty exclusively against manufacturing defects of the component. As an indispensable condition for the validity of said warranty, the Customer must install the purchased component through a technically certified automotive workshop, and must provide the corresponding service order or installation invoice for any claim. Euro Estándar acts solely in the capacity of a distributor and assumes no responsibility for mechanical failures, third-party damages, or loss of profits arising from installations performed by uncertified personnel, erroneous workshop diagnostics, or unauthorized component manipulation.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
The digital architecture, technical databases, visual identity, and source code are the exclusive property of Euro Estándar. Automated commercial data extraction or unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
9. Jurisdiction and Legal Framework
This agreement is governed by the prevailing laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, including the Law for the Promotion of Competition and Effective Consumer Defense (Law 7472). Any dispute arising from the commercial relationship will be resolved exclusively before the Courts of Justice of the Republic of Costa Rica, with the Customer expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply.
