1. Privacy Commitment

At Euro Estándar we assume an unrestricted commitment to protecting the privacy and personal data of our Customers, operating under the principles of legality, transparency, purpose limitation, and security established in Law No. 8968, on the Protection of Persons Regarding the Processing of their Personal Data, under the oversight of the Agency for the Protection of Inhabitants' Data (PRODHAB).

2. Informed Consent and Legal Basis (Law 8968)

By submitting information on our commercial platform, the user grants explicit consent for the processing of their data under the protocols described herein, protected by the Law on the Protection of Persons regarding the Processing of their Personal Data.

3. Personal Data Collected via the ERP

To properly manage the logistics, technical validation, and billing of your order, our ERP system exclusively collects the following data: full name, identification number (National ID or DIMEX for foreign residents), physical delivery address, contact email, and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or chassis number, required to ensure the technical compatibility of the requested component.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

Collected data is used exclusively for order logistics management, technical compatibility validation between the component and the Customer's vehicle, issuance of electronic invoicing as required by the Ministry of Finance, and operational communication regarding your order status.

5. Security Measures and Data Encryption

All personal and technical information stored in our ERP is protected through industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS), both in transit and at rest. Access to the databases is restricted exclusively to authorized personnel under confidentiality agreements.

6. Third-Party Data Transfer

Corporate or personal information is strictly non-commercialized. It is shared solely with logistics entities (e.g., Correos de Costa Rica, expedited courier services) for physical delivery execution, and with billing service providers for tax compliance.

7. Session Technologies (Cookies)

The platform utilizes strictly technical cookies. Their purpose is to maintain the integrity of the shopping cart during the user's active session. We do not employ tracking protocols for third-party commercial analysis.

8. Data Retention Period

All data transmission employs industry-standard SSL encryption. Transactional and billing records are retained according to the statutory periods mandated by Costa Rican law, guaranteeing their subsequent destruction or anonymization.

9. ARCO Rights and PRODHAB Contact Channel

The Customer retains at all times the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Oppose (ARCO) the processing of their personal data. Formal requests must be directed to our corporate channel: privacidad@euroestandar.cr.
