Replacement Interval
Replace upon failure or if oil leaks are detected at the electrical connector (typically between 80,000 and 120,000 km).
Symptoms of Failure
Check Engine Light (CEL), fault codes P0012, P0015, P0022, P0025, rough idle, loss of power, and oil leaking into the wiring harness.
Potential Collateral Damage
Oil can wick through the wiring harness via capillary action and irreversibly damage the Engine Control Unit (ECU).
