Driveshaft center support bearing. Maintains proper alignment of the propeller shaft, reducing vibrations and ensuring smooth power transfer from the transmission to the differential.

Replacement Interval

Inspect every 50,000 km. Typically replace between 100,000 km and 150,000 km or when rubber deterioration or bearing noise is detected.

Symptoms of Failure

Heavy vibrations under the vehicle during acceleration, clunking or whining noises from the transmission tunnel, premature wear of the flex disc.

Potential Collateral Damage

Damage to the driveshaft flex discs (guibos), premature wear of universal joints, damage to transmission output and differential input seals.
